Biography

Represented Association

Badal is the ex-minister of Nepal and a member of constituent assembly. He is Immediate Past Chairman of National Cooperative Federation of Nepal (NCF/N). Spent long time in the cooperative movement as a cooperative leader and one of the key person in drafting The Cooperative Act 1992 and The latest Cooperative Act, 2017.

Holds the public position such as Coordinator of National Advocacy Center for Natural Resources and Chairman of High Level Land Reform Commission, Government of Nepal.

Experience

    Completed Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Tribhuvan University, Nepal.

Attitude towards Cooperatives

Political positions includes the member of Standing Committee of Nepal Communist Party and social position includes the advisor of Tej Ganga and Kavre Multiple Campus. Author of various cooperative related book such as “Cooperative Principles and its Application” “Land Reform in Nepal”, “Agricultural Revolution and Industrial Development”,  Cooperatives for Sustainable Development goals  etc.Has published several cooperative articles in different magazines. Hon. Badal has visited countries like China, Germany, India, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, USA, Vietnam, France, Belgium, United Kingdom, Sri Lanka, Canada, South Africa, Mexico,  Australia, Argentina etc.
