Deepening The Cooperative Identity: Future Of Coops

in coordination with Ncf Nepal
conducted a consultation meeting on collecting ideas and issues on “Cooperative Identity”, and how ICA Member Organizations in Nepal have exhibited it during the time of pandemic and disaster.
The consultation was parallelly focused on to keep the future of coops through nurturing youth for deepening cooperative identity during emergency. Two Important papers were presented at the consultation. One from Senior Vice Chairperson of National Cooperative Federation of Nepal, International Cooperative Alliance Board Member and Constitution Assembly Member Ms. Om Devi Malla from Nepal on board perspective on “SCI” and its challenges and Pro. Kurimoto from Japan on contextual perspective. The papers were presented from the capacity of consular of ICA. The same nature of papers were presented in Philippines, Malaysia and Iran earlier by both consular.
The 33rd World Cooperative Congress was going to be celebrated as “REBUILD BETTER TOGETHER” for deepening cooperative identity towards members, community and the nation.
Top Cooperative Leaders and Senior Management teams of National Cooperative Federation of Nepal together with other member organizations representatives took part in the consultation. The consultation collected ideas and issues of COOPERATIVE IDENTITY to be discussed in the congress for long-term road map.
